Overseas Academic Link is an education consultancy service that helps match students to the right course. We aim to provide support throughout the entire application process, from uni selection to admission applications to assistance in moving overseas.

Yes. Our counselling and placement services are free for students. This includes advice on study options, application support and guidance throughout the admissions process.

Yes. Parents are welcome to attend consultations. Studying overseas is a major decision for the whole family, so we encourage parents to ask questions about university choices, entry requirements, costs, accommodation and student support.

OAL works with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including:

  • N-Levels
  • O-Levels
  • A-Levels
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Polytechnic diplomas
  • Other recognised qualifications

Our counsellors can assess your academic background and recommend the next step in your education.

Yes. If you do not yet meet the entry requirements for your preferred university, our counsellors can help you explore alternative pathways

Depending on your qualifications, this may include foundation programmes, diploma programmes or other recognised routes into higher education.

The right university depends on more than rankings. Your course interests, career goals, academic background, budget, preferred destination and learning environment all matter. This makes consultation sessions important, as they give our counsellors the opportunity to understand your needs and priorities.

It is best to start planning 12–24 months before your intended intake. This gives you enough time to compare universities, prepare applications, explore scholarships and understand entry requirements.

If you are starting later, you can still speak with our counsellors. Suitable options may still be available depending on your destination, course and intake period.

Yes. Some universities offer scholarships for eligible international students.

Our counsellors can advise on available scholarships, eligibility requirements and application steps where applicable. For example, the University of Western Australia, one of our official partner schools, can offer scholarships worth up to AUD$48,000.

After receiving an offer, you may need to accept your placement, complete enrolment steps, arrange accommodation and prepare for travel.

At OAL, we continue to guide you through these next steps so you can prepare for their move overseas with greater confidence.

Yes. Our counsellors are familiar with the visa requirements of various countries. We provide guidance regarding applications and can help you understand the documents you will need to prepare.
